Device for cooking capsule-type spices

The device involves an upwardly open cooking pan (2), and has a hood (1) with a number of openings for accommodating capsule-type spices (8). It can be placed with its open end on the base (4) of the cooking vessel. The hood is dome or bell-shaped and its open end is circular. The cover surface (6) of the hood has a number of regularly distributed openings, each of which is smaller than the capsule-type spice (8). The cover surface of the hood can be sieve-type (7), with the mesh width smaller than the capsule-type spices. The open end of the hood is provided with recesses distributed on the peripheral edge, and has a smaller diameter than the base of the cooking vessel. The device is made of heat-resistant material, preferably refined steel. The hood is provided with a grip component (13).
