The invention concerns a digital signal processing system for transmission of digital FDM signals with at least two FDM circuits (3, 5) to each of which of plurality of channels is directed and each of which produces an FDM signal which comprises a sub-band. It is characterised by a transmission interface circuit (7) which is connected after the FDM circuits (3, 5) and which combines the FDM output signals from the FDM circuits into a single FDM signal for transmission.
