A process is disclosed for producing alkaline detergents and detergent components which contain 25 to 95 % by weight of at least one alkaline active substance, 0.8 to 20 % by weight of at least one chlorine-based and/or oxygen-based bleaching agent, and 0.1 to 10 % by weight of at least one liquid, preferably non-aqueous dust preventing agent. The detergent is produced by contacting the components with each other in the presence of atmospheric oxygen or an inert gas. The process is characterised in that an oxidation-stabilised or oxidation-resistant agent is used as dust bonding agent. This process provides detergents which are less prone to self-heating in storage conditions.
