IN VIVO ELECTROPORATION METHOD FOR EARLY ANIMAL EMBRYO

A method for introducing a gene into undifferentiated cells which can be easily performed, achieves a high gene introduction efficiency and is applicable to various animal species established by putting an early chick embryo between electrodes, introducing a gene thereinto by the electroporation method, examining the introduction of the target gene into the early embryo with the use of an Escherichia coli beta -galactosidase as a reporter gene, and thus confirming that the gene has been expressed in the embryo without fail.
