SPACER INSTALLATION METHOD FOR GROMMET AND HOLDING TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding toll with which a spacer for a grommet can be easily and precisely installed on an electric wire bundle. SOLUTION: A spacer 20 is positioned and held in a wiring layout board prior to the wiring work and in the resultant state, electric wires 25 are successively laid. A locking member 33 is formed in the tip end of a fixed part 30 of a holding tool 21 and the locking member is connected with an electric wire housing hole 26 of the spacer 20 to lock the spacer 20 in the state that the spacer being properly positioned.
