PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a card-like optical recording medium which facilitates the embedment of MS into a hard coat layer and decreases stresses on a substrate at the time of embedding the MS. SOLUTION: In the process for producing the card-like optical recording medium formed by embedding striped magnetic recording layers 3 within the hard coating layer 2 formed on the recording and reproducing light incident surface of a substrate 11, a resin compsn. contg. a photosetting resin and thermosetting resin is applied on this substrate 1 and either of the photosetting resin and thermosetting resin is put into a half cured state to embed the striped magnetic recording layers 3 and, thereafter, the hard coating layer 2 is subjected to normal curing. |
