<p>Aqueous stock which comprises lyocell fibres can be refined more rapidly when the stock comprises from 0.1 to 5.0 percent by weight sodium hydroxide. Paper made from stock refined in this manner may exhibit improved tensile properties, including tensile strength, burst strength and tear strength.</p> |
