UPPER PART TURNING BODY STRUCTURE OF HYDRAULIC SHOVEL

An upper part turning body structure of a hydraulic shovel having high safety and high working rate is constituted by disposing a driver's cab, etc., on a substantial center of an upper turning body to prevent collision with obstacles on a small working site such as a tunnel and subway construction sites and urban civil engineering works sites, and disposing a working machine capable of excavating a side trench at the side portion. In a hydraulic shovel comprising lower travelling bodies (2a, 2b), an upper turning body (4) and a working machine (20) and a driver's cab (5) fitted to the upper turning body (4), the driver's cab (5) is disposed at the substantial center in the transverse direction and at the front part, of the upper turning body (4). A machine cab (4a) is disposed at the back of the driver's cab, and an operation oil tank (4f), a boom (6) of the working machine (20) and an operation valve (4g) are disposed on the right and left sides of the driver's cab. The upper turning body is positioned within the transverse width of the lower travelling bodies.
