PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce production cost by constituting the output regulation mechanism for an inverter of a potentiometer by a control means producing a control signal each time the output signal from the potentiometer exceeds a predetermined level and a switching member thereby simplifying the output regulation mechanism. SOLUTION: Since the input voltage Vo to a step-up transformer 11 has a repetitive waveform (sinusoidal full-wave rectified voltage), varying periodically for each oscillating operation, a potentiometer 3 produces an output signal VS1 having waveform dependent on the input voltage Vo and operation set values upon application of the input voltage Vo. Every time the output signal VS1 from the potentiometer 30 is repeated, a control means outputs a control signal VS2 during an interval in which the output signal VS1 exceeds a predetermined level. A transistor 32, provided in the input current path of the step-up transformer 11, is subjected to conduction/nonconduction control by the control signal VS2. This constitution realizes an inverter providing a main regulation mechanism, having simple circuitry and suitable for reducing the production cost. |
