PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aliphatic polyoxamide which can be used for a surgical device such as a suture, a shaping device, a matrix for conveying a drug, a coating film, a lubricant, etc., by selecting a specified aliphatic polyoxamide. SOLUTION: This aliphatic polyoxamide contains repeating units represented by formula I and repeating units selected from those of formulas II to IV wherein X and Y are each -O- or -N(R)-; R, R1 and R2 are each H or a 1-8C alkyl; R3 is a group of formula V; R17 is a 2-8C alkylene [containing an internal ether oxygen atom, or internal-N(R18 - or -C(O)-N(R21 )-]; R5 and R9 are each- C(R6 )(R7 )-, -(CH2 )3 -O-,-CH2 -CH2 -O-CH2 -, -CR8 H-CH2 -, -(CH2 )4 -,-(CH2 )F-O-C(O)- or-(CH2 )K-C(O)-CH2 -; T is 1 to 2,000; B is 1 to a number corresponding to a number-average molecular weight of 200,000; P is 1 to a number corresponding to a number-average molecular weight of 1,000,000; and G is an alcohol residue}. |
