<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyamide resin for a printing ink, remarkably improved in oil resistance while retaining the performances of conventional polyamide resins and soluble in alcohol by selecting a specified polyamide resin. SOLUTION: This resin comprises a composition obtained by the condensation of constituents comprising a 4C or lower aliphatic monocarboxylic acid (A), a polymeric fatty acid (B) containing at least 40wt.% tribasic acid, and a polyalkylene polyamine (C), wherein the molar ratio of component A to the total of components A and B is (15 to 65):100, and the tribasic acid accounts for 15-60mol% of the whole acids, or a composition obtained by the condensation of constituents comprising a 4C or lower aliphatic monoamine (D), the component B and the component C, wherein the molar ratio of component D to the total of components D and C is (15 to 65):100, and the tribasic acid accounts for 15-70mol% of the whole acids.</p> |
