<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machinery press having the precise shut height control system. SOLUTION: This press has a bed 14 connected to a frame, and a slide 20 is connected to the frame so as to reciprocate against the bed 14. The shut height of the press is defined with both of the slide 20 and the bed 14. In order to drive the slide 20 reciprocating, a driving mechanism is attached on the frame, and the driving mechanism includes a driving piston and a tie rod. The shut height control system includes a chamber arranged between the driving piston and the tie rod, a pressurizing mechanism passing through the chamber is provided, the chamber is pressurized selectively with a prescribed pressure. The tie rod is executed of whichever action of extension or contaction with the pressurizing mechanism, and based on the result, the shut height of the press is controlled.</p> |
