PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process a waste tire into a flat plate by cutting off both side walls of the waste tire to take out a cylindrical tread part and cutting open the tread part in a radial direction and cutting grooves in the inner surface of the cut-out tread part in a lattice form and laminating two tread parts so that the grooved surfaces thereof are mutually bonded. SOLUTION: A waste tire is cut crosswise to take out a tread part and the cut tire is cut in a radial direction to obtain one or a plurality of plates 5. Each plate 5 is passed through the gap between two rollers 6. Two rollers 6 are heated to high temp. and the upper roller has ridges 7 spirally formed to the peripheral surface thereof. Therefore, grooves 9 are carved in the inner surface of the curved plate 5 passed through the nip between the rollers 6 in a lattice form by the ridges. The warpage of the plate is relaxed by the lattice- shaped grooves. Subsequently, two plates 5 having grooves in a lattice form are coated with an adhesive in such a state that the surfaces having grooves 9 of them are turned inside to be pressed by a press device. By this constitution, two plates 5 are bonded to obtain a flat plate. |
