PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lightweigth edgeproof material rich in flexibility, good in feeling when worn, and significantly high in resistance to piercing and deep cutting of a cutter, etc., thus useful as a protective article, safety article, etc., by impregnating an aramid fiber nonwoven fabric with rosin. SOLUTION: This edgeproof material is obtained by impregnating an aramid fiber nonwoven fabric such as of copoly-p-phenylene 3,4'-oxydiphenylene terephthalamide fiber (single fiber fineness and single fiber tenacity are pref. 1.0-3.0 denier and 22-30g/d, respectively) with pref. 0.5-50wt.% of rosin. |
