PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good-quality tacky adhesive tape without suffering from the loosening or curling of a substrate during direct coating with a solvent-based tacky adhesive or a releasing agent, drying by roll conveying, etc., by laying a specified resin layer on the surface of substrate having a polyethylene layer. SOLUTION: The substrate of this tacky adhesive tape is one prepared by laying a 0.5-20μm thick resin layer selected from the group consisting of acrylic resins, polyamide resins, vinyl resins, nitrocellulose resins and urethane resins on the surface of the polyethylene layer or both surfaces of a sheet support having a polyethylene layer on at least either surface. Examples of the substrate of tacky adhesive tapes include a polyethylene layer itself and one prepared by forming a polyethylene layer on either surface of a loosely woven cloth.
