PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly tracking-resistant tacky adhesive tape by interposing an intermediate layer based on a synthetic resin between an insulating support and a tacky adhesive. SOLUTION: A 0.5-100μm thick intermediate layer based on at least one synthetic resin selected among polyurethane synthetic resins, vinyl chloride or acetate synthetic resins, acrylic synthetic resins and polyolefin synthetic resins is interposed between an insulating substrate and a tacky adhesive layer to obtain a tracking-resistant tacky adhesive tape. This tape is featured by having a comparative tracking index(CTI) as measured according to IEC-112 of 600V or above. When compared with conventional tapes, this tape has a shorter creeping distance and can contribute to the reduction in the size and weight of a machine.
