<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable vol. reducing treatment apparatus for plastic waste suppressed in the operation inferiority of the heating means of a screw. SOLUTION: A screw 7 is made hollow and silicone oil 9 is injected into the hollow part thereof to immerse a heater 10 in the silicone oil 9. Since the heater 10 is not rotated even if the screw 7 is rotated, there is no mechanical contact with a power supply and the heater 10 only receives slight force from the flowable silicone oil 9. A heater 5 is provided even to the outer surface of a cone 3 and, since plastic waste 14 during pressure feed is forcibly heated on both sides of the screw 7 and the cone 3, plastic waste 14 is sufficiently raised in temp. as a whole and the melting and vol. reduction thereof are accelerated.</p> |
