PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate risk of interference with robot body of any, cable of component, for example a welding torch, etc., to be mounted on the tip of the robot. SOLUTION: The third drive shaft 11 is offset from the second drive shaft 7 while the third driving side joint element 9 is turned upward, and the second driving side joint element 5a is rotated at least 90deg. either clockwise or counterclockwise, and then the element 9 and welding torch 13 are approached to object to be welded. This eliminates risk of interference of the cable 15 with the robot body, and the welding work, etc., can be executed in good performance. |
