PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a fuel pump with its structure simplified without forming a separate cam surface for cam shafts for an intake and an exhaust valve. SOLUTION: The engine is equipped with a cam shaft 31 for an intake and exhaust valve formed with an intake and exhaust cam surface 34, a fuel pump 66 provided with a plunger 65, and with an arm 71 which is mounted onto an engine main body in such a way as to be freely rocked. The fuel pump 66 is driven by the reciprocal movement of the plunger 65. The arm 71 is brought into contact with the intake and exhaust cam surface 34, and is concurrently rocked while being interlocked with the rotation of the intake and exhaust cam surface. Besides, the plunger 65 of the fuel pump 66 is brought into contact with the arm 71, and is concurrently reciprocated while being interlocked with the rocking motion of the arm 71. |
