PRODUCTION OF DESULFURIZING AGENT FOR STEEL MAKING FROM WASTE GAS OF WASTE INCINERATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a large amt. of slaked lime and calcium chloride included in the captured matter discharged from dust collectors at the time of removing hydrogen chloride by blowing the slaked lime into the waste gases of waste incineration. SOLUTION: The waste gases generated in a waste incineration furnace 1 are introduced into a first dust collector 4 to remove the soot. The slaked lime powder is blown from a slaked lime storage tank 10 into the waste gases from which soot is removed, by which oxidative gases are absorbed. The waste gases into which the slaked lime powder is blown are introduced into the second dust collector 5 where the powder composed mainly of a calcium compd. is captured. The powder is recovered as the desulfurizing agent for steel making.
