<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement steel sheet core-containing duct hose which is free from easy detachment even when a large tension is applied to a connection part of a reinforcement core to a sheet, excellent in the bending resistance, and extensive in the range of the allowable pressure, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In a reinforcement steel sheet core-containing duct hose in which a reinforcement core 1 having a holding sheet formed by returning each side edge part of a strip-shaped continuous steel sheet to an outer surface side leaving an inner sheet is spirally arranged, and each side edge part 5 of a strip-shaped sheet 2 stretched between adjacent forward and rear reinforcement cores in the axial direction is caulked and held between an inner sheet 3 of the reinforcement core and a holding sheet 4, a folded sheet 6 which is continuous to a tip of the holding sheet 4 and returned at acute angle toward a space between the holding sheet and an inner sheet 3 is provided, an engagement projection 7 is continuously or intermittently formed on the folded sheet along the longitudinal direction, the side edge parts 5 of the sheet 2 are elastically held between the folded sheet and the inner sheet, and the engagement projection is engaged with the sheet.</p> |
