摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the gas barrier properties and alkali resistance of a hollow molded object made of polyester excellent in transparency and heat resistance. SOLUTION: A hollow molded object is formed from a molten mixed polyester resin of 90-60 pts.wt. of polyethylene terephthalate and 10-40 pts.wt. of polyethylene naphthalate and characterized by that the haze of the body part of the molded object is 3% or less and the average density thereof is 1.34-1.37g/cm<3> and the intrinsic viscosity thereof is 0.6-1.0dl/g.
