PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform selectively the cleaning work of a nozzle without employing a change valve in the nozzle cleaning zone. SOLUTION: The printer comprises a nozzle cap capable of being in contact with each nozzle of an ink head, suction pipes 16a-16d connected to each nozzle cap, and a pressing member 11 having a recess 22 capable of accommodating only one of the suction pipes and a projection for pressing all of the other suction pipes and, thereby, it is formed such that the suction pipes 16a-16d and the pressing member 11 are made relatively movable to each other. |
