<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray which is favorable for a small pack product of meat and hygienic and easily handled and further which prevents meat juice from flowing out of the pack on thawing. SOLUTION: Meat of 50-100g is put on a small tray 2 and packaged by film as it is, to make a small pack product of meat. The tray is made of synthetic resin film and constituted of a square or a rectangular bottom 10 having 50-100mm sides and side walls 11 having 5-20mm height erected from respective sides of the bottom 10. Grooves 12 are formed on the bottom 10 to hold meat juice oozing from the meat on thawing it and prevent the meat bottom from getting wet. A plurality of projections 14 are formed at the upper face of the bottom 10 to prevent the meat put thereon from easily moving or shifting. An absorbing sheet may be put on the bottom 10.</p> |
