<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the forward and backward movement of a carrier vehicle with a low-cost and simple structure using one driving unit in a self-propelling type carrier vehicle having casters attached to the front and rear left and right parts of a truck so as to be freely swung around the swing shaft of a vertical direction and traveled along a guide belt installed on a road surface by the driving of the driven wheels of the driving unit. SOLUTION: An endless chain 27 moved by a forward and backward moved gear motor 25 is laid on the lower surface of a truck 1 and this endless chain 27 is connected to four casters 3, 3,..., in the front and rear sides of the truck 1 via a driving side plate 3. A long hole 32 is opened in the driving side plate 3 and an engaging pin 28 fixed to the chain 27 is engaged with this long hole 32 so as to be slid. Further, locking mechanisms 41 and 41 for preventing the swinging of the left and right casters 3 and 3 in the advancing direction rear side of the truck around a swing shaft 5 are provided.</p> |
