PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water softening system free from the generation of hardness leakage and the control method. SOLUTION: A raw water inlet 3 of a 1st water softener 1 is connected to a raw water line 5 through a 1st raw water line 20 and a raw water inlet 10 of a 2nd water softener is connected to the raw water line 5 through a 2nd raw water line 21. A 1st three way valve 6 is provided in the 1st raw water line 20 and a 3rd three way valve 8 is provided in the 2nd raw water line 21. A treated water outlet 4 of the 1st softener 1 is connected to a treated water line 12 through a 1st treated water line 22, a treated water outlet 11 of the 2nd softener is connected is connected to a treated water line 12 through a 2nd treated water line 23, a 2nd three way valve 7 is provided in the 1st treated water line 22 and a 4th three way valve 9 is provided in the 2nd treated water line 23. The 2nd three way valve 7 is connected to a 3rd three way valve 8 through a 1st flow passage 14 provided with a 1st flowmeter 13 and the 1st three way valve 6 is connected to the 4th three way valve 9 through a 2nd flow passage 16 provided with a 2nd flow meter 15. |
