<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron golf club having a soft feeling. SOLUTION: This golf club has a cavity 4 formed along the contour of the back surface of a club head 10 fixed to a shaft via a hosel 9 on this back surface. The thickness of the ball hitting surface member 5 of the club head 10 is set in a range of >=1 to <2mm in the position of the bottom 6 of the cavity. A reinforcing member 7 passing a ball hitting surface center 8 is fixed to the back surface of the ball hitting surface member 5 in order to reinforce the strength of the hitting surface.</p> |
