<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stamp ink which does not dry on a stamp face and gives a print quickly permeating and drying without being transferred to other goods even when brought into contact therewith by incorporating at least a dye and a specific solvent into the same. SOLUTION: This stamp ink at least contains a dye (pref. an oil-soluble dye, e.g. C.I. Solvent Red 49) and a 10-18C alcohol ether of a polyalkylene oxide (e.g. POE lauryl ether, POE oleyl ether, POE nonylphenyl ether, POE cetyl ether, or POE-POP cetyl ether) as the solvent. Since this ether is liq. and nonvolatile at normal temp. and does not dry on a stamp face, setting is always possible. Excellent in permeating power, the ink contg. the ether quickly permeates into between fibers of paper and dries when applied onto paper. Hence, even when brought into contact with the resultant print short after setting, hands, etc., are hardly stained.</p> |
