PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the separation of the abrasion-resistance protective coat in an earlier stage due to the sliding of the vane on other members and the damage of other members, and prevent a drop in life of a compressor used for a refrigerator by finishing, for example grinding, the bare surface of a vane at its tip to be covered with a protective coat in the direction where the vane slidingly contacts with a roller piston. SOLUTION: A vane 2 is formed at its tip 2a on the bare surface with an abrasion-resistance protective coat 4. The bare surface of the vane 2 at the tip 2a covered with the protective coat 4 is finished, for example ground, in the direction where the vane slidingly contacts with a roller piston 1. The abrasion-resistance protective coat 4 formed at least the tip 2a of the piston 2 which slidingly contacts with the roller piston 1 is preferably made of a CrN compound. |
