摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate setting of a positional angle of a wheel in accordance with a characteristic of a tire, to provide travelling stability suitable for an actual road surface and to realize reduction of one side abrasion. SOLUTION: A plural number of flat plate type projections 38 of specified height are formed with specified intervals between each of them along the circulating direction on an outer surface of a caterpillar 34 to rotationally drive a wheel. When the caterpillar 34 is circularly driven, the wheel is rolled on a tire driving surface 36, passes a step difference from an upper surface of a plate piece 32 and runs on an upper surface of the projections 38, passes the step difference from the upper surface of the projections 38 and runs down on the plate piece 32 repeatedly. At this time, longitudinal force and lateral force generated on the tire are measured, and a positional angle of the wheel is adjusted so that change width of the lateral force within a period of time when the longitudinal force is the maximum value or a value near to the maximum becomes the minimum.
