METHOD FOR WASHING INSIDE WALL OF TANK AND VESSEL AND WASHING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and surely wash the inside wall of a tank by horizontally arranging a guide for washing near the inside wall surface from near a liquid surface along the inside wall surface of the tank, guiding a washing body along this guide and executing washing with the washing body while lowering the guide at the time of liquid discharge. SOLUTION: The washing device is hoisted and is inserted into the tank 1 where the device is floated on the liquid surface 2. The top end of the tank 1 is provided with a bridging body 20 and a winch 22 is set on a working floor 10. The washing body 4 is then driven to rotate a rotary brush 4a for washing. The washing body 4 is guided by the guide 3 for washing and is moved back and forth. As a result, the boundary between the liquid phase and gaseous phase in the tank 1 and the upper and lower parts thereof are washed. The washing device is gradually lowered and the washing plane by the rotary brush 4a for washing is moved downward by suitably releasing a valve 24 and gradually discharging the liquid in the tank 1 from a waste liquid pipe 23. The discharging of the liquid and the washing are then executed. The washing device is hoisted by the winch 22 after the end of the washing.
