The fastening device has a side plate 4 having a vertical first fitting surface 21a and a horizontal second fitting surface 21b, two pairs of positioning recesses 22a and 22b and two pairs of engaging recesses 23a and 23b on the two fitting surfaces, two each projections 29 and hooks 30 on the connector unit 18, and an opening 20 to pass lead wires extending over the two fitting surfaces.
