<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency without increase in size of an apparatus by moving a holding means which is loaded with sheet materials where an image is formed by recording and holds the same between a first position for loading and holding sheet materials and a second position provided with an opening for taking out the sheet materials. SOLUTION: A discharge tray 16 as a holding means is disposed in an apparatus, and the discharge tray 16 is moved between a first position X1 for loading and holding sheet materials S and a second position X, provided with an opening for taking out the sheet materials S. A pair of discharge rollers are also moved between a discharge position Y1 for discharging sheet materials D and a retreat position Y2 retreating from the movement area of the discharge tray 16, interlocking with the positional movement of the discharge tray 16. Thus, the paired discharge rollers will not be an obstacle to positional movement of the discharge tray 16, and further the size and the moving direction of the discharge tray 16 can be freely set.</p> |
