<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club shaft which allows easy swinging through and has the excellent strength of a shaft and its balance. SOLUTION: The golf club shaft composed of a fiber reinforced prepreg formed by impregnating reinforcing fibers with a synthetic resin has a small- diameter part la on a head side and a large-diameter part 1b in a grip side. The shaft has a tapered part 1c between the small-diameter part 1a and the large-diameter part 1b. The outside diameter at the front end of the large- diameter part 1b is larger by >=1mm than the outside diameter at the rear end of the small-diameter part 1a. The rigidity at the rear end is 60 to 100% of the rigidity at the front end.</p> |
