<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-base recording fluid which, unlike one prepd. by using a commonly used fungicide, is free from a safety problem with increasing toxicity by using a specific liquid as the water-soluble fungicide in preparing the fluid at least contg. a water-soluble dye, a water-soluble fungicide, and water. SOLUTION: A liquid collected from at least one plant selected from among a mallow (e.g. a water hyacinth or a hibiscus), an orchid, and an aloe is used as a water-soluble fungicide and is incorporated pref. in an amt. of 0.01-5wt.% into the recording fluid. Thus, a stable recording is enabled without causing troubles due to the occurrence of fungi in the recording fluid, such as the clogging of a fluid passage or a nozzle in an ink-jet recorder, the change in color of the fluid, and the degradation in performance.</p> |
