<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain tea for exclusive use for the dilution of liquor, having excellent taste and flavor and enabling the complete intake of all components of tea in high efficiency and to provide a process for the production of the tea. SOLUTION: This tea is tea powder produced by crushing processed tea leaves. It has particle diameter of 62-88μm and is effective for dissolving a fat-soluble component such as chlorophyll, carotene and vitamin E in alcohol and a water-soluble component such as catechin, amino acid and caffeine in water when mixed with liquor. A fat-soluble tea component which cannot be taken as a drink obtained by extracting an extractable component from green tea of middle class can be taken in high efficiency in a state dissolved in alcohol. The liquor is imparted with the characteristic flavor and taste of tea. Since the tea has a particle diameter of 62-88μm, the solid component such as vegetable fiber is easily dispersible in the liquid liquor. The vegetable fiber is easily takable since the tea does not deteriorate the palatability (drinkability) of the liquor.</p> |
