CLUTCHLESS VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT COMPRESSION AND ITS ASSEMBLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively process a housing hole of a cylinder block in a clutchless variable displacement compressor and easily adjust a minimum tilting angle of a cam plate by exchanging an interrupted body and peripheral parts from a rear end of the housing hole. SOLUTION: A housing hole 27 having substantially constant diameter is formed on a cylinder block 11. An intake passage 32 is opened to the housing hole 27 from an outside coolant circuit 52 so as to be communicated with an intake pressure area 37. An interruption body 28 is detachably fitted and housed into the housing hole 27 from the rear end of the cylinder block 11 for interlocking with oscillation of a cam plate 22, opening and closing the intake passage 32. A spring 29 is housed in the housing hole 27 for energizing the interrupted body 28 in the direction for opening the intake passage 32. The rear end of the spring 29 is hung and held by a spring receiver 27b.
