<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring method for prescribed information on a cargo and a vehicle wherein the internal environment temperatures of a number of vehicles and containers regarding a generator and a stationary base to temporarily store the containers are concentratedly monitored through remote control. SOLUTION: A signal for an ID code classified by a container 1, temperature information, and consumption power information is transmitted by a photo transmitter 2 arranged at each container. The transmission signal is received by a photo receiver 4 arranged at a vehicle, the received information signal is stored at an on-vehicle memory machine 6 arranged on a vehicle, and information on an abnormal signal is processed. Further, a container information signal or an abnormality alarm signal are transmitted from an antenna through an on-vehicle satellite communication terminal machine 7 arranged on a vehicle. An information signal transmitted from the antenna is transmitted through a route of a physical distribution management center 11 from a ground base station 10 through a communication satellite 9. Further, a specified amount of information stored at the on-vehicle memory machine 6 is stored, and the information is transmitted and received to and from the physical distribution management center 11 through a modem and a telephone circuit.</p> |
