PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leak of ink when an ink tank is mounted on a recording head or kept before mounting by providing a closing part closing an ink supply hole on the inside part of an outer edge part for adhesion and sealing the ink supply hole by a seal material formed of a flexible sheet covering a ring-shaped contact part. SOLUTION: In such a state that a connection part 43 on a tank side and a connection part 3 on a recording head side are separated, the adhesive outside part of a seal material formed from a flexible sheet is bonded to the outer peripheral surface of the main body of the ink tank T outside a ring-shaped contact part 39a. When the ink tank T is connected to the connecgtion part 3 on the recording head side, the seal material 51 is peeled from the outside surface of the main body of the ink tank T and the tank connection part 43 of the main body of the ink tank T is mounted on the connection part 3 on the recording head side to be connected thereto. In such a state that the connection part 43 on the tank side is connected to the connection part 3 on the recording head side, the ring-shaped contact part 39a of the leading end of the connection part 43 on the tank side penetrates into an ink inflow hole 4 to come into contact with the ring-shaped contact member 6. |
