FIELD: vacuum and cryogenic facilities for building up deep vacuum; cryosorption pumping of working medium, for instance, in dilution refrigerators. SUBSTANCE: adsorbent cooling system divides inner space of pump into two adjacent screw spaces one of which, communicating with pumping out pipeline, serves to supply of pumped out gas, and second space is filled with adsorbent. This provides effective two-side cooling of adsorbent and low hydraulic losses owing to provision of gas clearances at both sides from layer of adsorbent. Such design of cooling system, in combination with small thickness of adsorbent layer, makes it possible to considerably increase pumping out speed of pump and increase its sorption capacity owing to effective use of pump volume.
