FIELD: transport engineering; engines for automotive vehicles. SUBSTANCE: muffler has housing made in form of two half- envelopes with length and width exceeding their depth. Exhaust pipeline passing inside housing is enclosed by filler material. Two ends of exhaust pipeline are reliably secured on housing, and exhaust pipeline is in contact only with filler material in housing inner space. Muffler has plate which passes depthwise between envelopes without contact with pipeline and connects lower portion of envelope halves.
