FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: invention predominantly relates to precious metal ores. Method of preparing ore to recover metal includes breakdown and crushing of ore, while simultaneously adding liquid agent serving as solvent for precious metals. The latter, in dependence on ore composition, may be solutions of cyanide salts and/or alkali-earth metals. In particular, it may be either sodium cyanide solution with concentration from 0.001 to 0.1 g/l at temperature from 0 to 50 C, or calcium cyanide solution with concentration from 0.001 to 0.5 g/l at temperature from 0 to 50 C. Sulfide solutions may also be used. When solution is fed into breakdown zone, small inclusions of mineral product are dissolved and then, having no time to be adsorbed on surrounding minerals, are withdrawn with solution.
