FIELD: medicine, orthopedics, neurotraumatology. SUBSTANCE: lateral plates of the device are connected by hinges with cross-sectional extensible plank that has openings for its rigid fixation with a bolt at necessary length in case of possible change of inclination angle of lateral plates relative to cross-sectional extensible plank for a certain angle due to a clearance between lateral plates and edges of cross-sectional extensible plank. The upper edges of lateral plates are angularly curved to outwards and connected loosely with extensible forcing socket which length reserve is larger than that of cross-sectional extensible plank. The lower edges of lateral plates has quadratic openings for needle's fasteners designed as a bolt with quadratic basis, a slot for a needle and a cylindrical nut with through opening to insert detachable handle and, also, extensible forcing socket. Needle's stabilizers are put on a needle on its directing through a bone. Stabilizers consist of cylindrical tube with thickening at its edge fixed in a through opening of a bolt and prolonged cylindrical nut screwed on this bolt. If necessary, detachable clamp headpieces with trihedrally sharpened edges and a stopping device as cylindrical screw socket and locking nut are fixed in quadratic openings at the lower edges of lateral plates. EFFECT: higher efficiency in development of multi-purpose device to be used in any system of skeletal extension due to simplified fixation and needle's tension in the device, more reliable needle's stabilization in a bone, decreased traumaticity and shortened period of operative interference. 5 cl, 4 dwg
