FIELD: machine building, particularly, regeneration of waste oil. SUBSTANCE: method involves filtration, heating, preliminary purification and settling oil, removing water and mixing residue of oil together with centrifugation, further heating, separation and removal thus prepared oil and water. Before said separation processing with the help of demulsifier is carried out and after it cooling to 50-75 C and two-stepped affection of electric field takes place at decreasing intensity and at duration of affection within 45-300 s range depending upon oil composition. EFFECT: improved quality of desired oil comprising traces of water.
