FIELD: filtration technics. SUBSTANCE: filter cake is transferred to discharge column, falls into it, and, when column is filled to a specified level, it opens in its bottom part or near the bottom and filter cake is pushed or blown away owing to excessive pressure over the upper part of cake. Arrangement for withdrawing filter cake from continuous high-pressure filtration apparatus includes vertical column positioned after conveyor means, high- pressure sensor installed such as to provide controlling opening time of discharge column, and low-level sensor providing control of specified open time for the column.
