FIELD: turbine engineering. SUBSTANCE: oil trap has casing built up of top part 1 and bottom part 2 that accommodates one to three fluoroplastic rings. Ridges are made on inner side of rings 3. The latter are locked within casing. In the course of turbine running, oil entering clearance between shaft and seal is entrapped by ridges 4 and goes through ducts between them to drain holes of rings 3.
