FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this is for checking direction of drill-hole or position of drilling tool in process of drilling. In operation of instrument, measured are values of seeming accelerations and projections of angular velocity in axes of instrumental trihedron by means of three single-axis accelerometers and two three-stage gyroscopes installed in body of inclinometer and rigidly connected with it. Gyroscope output signals are amplified and converted together with output signals of accelerometers into code. These signals are corrected depending on temperature inside inclinometer body. Determined are values of inclinometric angles by means of computer located in inclinometer body. These values are coded and transmitted to day surface through communication link. Computer inputs are connected with outputs of accelerometers, temperature sensor and gyroscope angle sensors through pre-amplifiers, and outputs are connected through code-current converters with corresponding sensors of gyroscope moments. All amplifiers and converters are accommodated inside body of instrument. This allows for drilling without stops, simplifies design and reducers dimensions of instrument, widens potentialities of its use in narrow bore-holes. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
