摘要 FIELD: manufacture of aircraft engines. SUBSTANCE: at acceleration of supersonic ramjet engine, air is subjected to compression in system of external shock waves arising at fixed members of fuselage and inner shock waves formed by adjustable members of engine flow section, fuel is subjected to detonation combustion in combustion chamber and gas is expanded in nozzle. When flight is effected at speed less than Mach number 6-8, fuel is burnt in expanding combustion chamber at supply distributed lengthwise attaining thermal critical region; at flight Mach number exceeding 6-8, distributed delivery system is disconnected and fuel is fed to flow of air after external shock wave system before engine air intake where temperature of air is below fuel self-ignition temperature and shock wave at normal component of Mach number equal to one and temperature after shock wave exceeding fuel self-ignition temperature is formed through regulation of flow section.
