A mixer comprises a vessel (1) open at the top (5) and having a polygonal cross-section perpendicular to its longitudinal axis (2), the vessel in use being rotated about axis (2) and oscillated about a different axis (8). Also claimed are use thereof, wherein the vessel is rotated about axis (2) for a time and oscillated about axis (8) for at least some of that time, and application of the mixer to coating of grains and seeds. |
