The method for applying paint involves introducing the paint into a syringe with a needle. The paint is then discharged by applying pressure onto the piston of the syringe to obtain filaments of paint. A series of needles of different diameters can be used to obtain different sizes of ink filaments. The needle is held very close to the substrate i.e. within a distance of five millimetres. The applied filaments can be covered with varnish to reflect the light.
